Andrew M. Camp is a senior research associate for the Annenberg Institute at Brown University. A former high school math teacher, he earned his Ph.D. in Education Policy from the Department of Education Reform at the University of Arkansas. Andrew specializes in using quantitative methods to study pressing education policy issues, specifically the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on students, families, and teachers. His recent work examines ways that the pandemic impacted educator labor markets and evaluates state and district policies focusing on bolstering educator pipelines and supporting educators such as grow-your-own programs and four-day school week calendars.
