Stephanie Cellini is a professor of public policy and economics at George WashingtonUniversity and a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. She co-directs the Postsecondary Equity and Economics Research Center, bringing togetherscholars to conduct research that can inform efforts to enhance equity, accountability,and student success in college. Her research focuses on higher education policy with aspecific focus on for-profit institutions and the impact of changes to federal student aidpolicy on students and colleges. Prof. Cellini previously served as co-editor of the journal,Education Finance and Policy and as a nonresident senior fellow at the BrookingsInstitution. She served as a fellow with the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee onEducation and Labor and as a senior consultant for the White House Office of Informationand Regulatory Affairs. Prof. Cellini earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from theUniversity of California, Los Angeles and a B.A. in public policy from Stanford University.
