Dylan Conger is a Professor in the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration. Dylan’s research focuses on explaining disparities in achievement between social groups and evaluating policies aimed at reducing those disparities. She has conducted several studies on the effect of rigorous high school courses, such as Advanced Placement, on student outcomes. Before joining the faculty at GW, Dylan held research positions at the Vera Institute of Justice and Abt Associates, Inc. where she conducted evaluations of social and education programs. Dylan holds a PhD and a master’s degree in public policy and a bachelor’s degree in ethnic studies.
