Isabella Rodriguez

Isabella Rodriguez is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Virginia, pursuing a degree in Public Policy and Leadership while also double-majoring in Music. Since fall 2025, she has worked as a research assistant with the Virginia Kindergarten Readiness Program, collaborating with Kelsey Clayback and Jessica Whittaker on projects related to early childhood education assessments, data systems, and educator well-being. Beyond her research, Isabella is especially interested in how policy and evidence-based practices can expand equitable access to K–12 education, particularly for students of color and those in low-income districts. After graduation, she hopes to contribute to policies that reduce achievement gaps and better support historically marginalized youth.
