Susha Roy

Susha is an Associate Policy Researcher at RAND Corporation. She uses quasi-experimental and experimental methods to explore how inequality manifests and persists, focusing on education and housing policy. She has recently researched school choice policies, including analyzing the impacts of school choice on neighborhoods, stratification across school sectors, and education finance. Some of her other research interests include economic mobility, housing, and place-based policies. Before pursuing her Ph.D., she helped launch an edtech company that expanded access to computer science education in over 200 high schools. She has a master’s degree in economics and education from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Stanford University.
